Stunning setting. 20 rooms spread across beautiful spacious gardens, this place never felt crowded or busy even though it was full most nights. Very relaxing with only the sound of the surf and birds chirping - none of the usual noise at night either. Staff are all lovely and the bungalow was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Good breakfast included in our very reasonable rate. Plenty of great little Warungs to try nearby. They very kindly organized a cake and flowers for my birthday and all the staff came and sang Happy Birthday - so sweet! A great place to chill out for a week.

Everything. The design of the restaurant and the view from the step to the infinity pool and the ocean is absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast is probably the cherry on top with a good buffet with iced lemon tea on demand and homemade jam which are amazing 😍 I can only recommend this place. Great location if you want to visit the East of Bali. If that's not enough the best Warung (BUDIAYU) of the island is next to the hotel

Staff were always pleasant and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and rooms were nice and clean. We loved the open bathroom. Pool was lovely to swim in overlooking the ocean and there were plenty of lounge chairs distributed around the pool and grounds if you wanted to lay under the trees and read or just doz off. There always seem to be a lovely ocean breeze being on this side of the coast. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a wonderful holiday and reminiscent of ‘old Bali’. Complete relaxation, attentive staff, kindness and a true sense of pride in customer care. The food was great, rooms comfortable, and whilst not 5 star with all the bells & whistles my friend and I had the most relaxing and peaceful holiday in many years.

Lotus Bungalows was the absolute perfect place for a bit of much needed R&R away from the crowds. The hotel is understated elegance - it really is very beautiful! The gorgeous dining room building overlooks a lovely infinity pool with views out over the water. Plenty of places to set your towel down and spend a relaxing day - either on a sun bed, a daybed in one of the pagoda areas or even down by the sea wall in a gorgeous hammock. The breakfast every day was fresh with plenty of variety. The a la carte menu offers delicious, well prepared and well priced meals. The staff and overall service was of a very high standard - very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, extremely comfortable and thoroughly serviced every day. The hotel is located only a short walk into Candidasa. I would highly recommend Lotus for anyone looking for truly relaxing escape and expectational quality at such a value price.

Gorgeous hotel at beachfront, nice bamboo central reception and dining area with tasteful decoration and great views. Spacious bungalows in a lovely setting in the garden, some with great direct beach view. Fantastic pool area with many different seating areas, shaded and sunny and different levels. Really nice staff, very helpful with everything you may need. Great food, extensive breakfast buffet (although I think they sometimes have a menu as well, when the occupancy is lower) and wide variety of drinks and food, all of good quality. I ordered a greek salad which could compete with a local greek restaurant, well done. The environment is quiet; you don't hear traffic of other noise, only the sound of the waves, bliss.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lotus Bungalows Bali, and it was truly a paradise on earth! From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in warm hospitality and tranquillity. The stunning bungalows, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers, offered the perfect blend of comfort and serenity. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of exceptional. The amenities were top-notch, with a gorgeous pool, delicious breakfast options, and a wood fired pizza oven But honestly, I was so enchanted by the bungalows and the tranquil atmosphere that I often found myself reluctant to leave the premises! Lotus Bungalows Bali is a true gem, offering an unforgettable experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and inspired. Nice swimmingpool with ocean view and relaxing sunloungers, outdoor bathroom, close to padang bai to visit the gili’s. Great warung nextdoor.

We stayed 10 days over Christmas and New Years and had a wonderful time. We could book transport to sites (Besakih Temple, waterfalls, Virgin Beach, boat to Blue Lagoon for snorkeling) and otherwise could walk to nearby restaurants. We would absolutely recommend Warung Budiayu, just around the corner, we had excellent Chicken Tutu, Nasi Goreng and could even pre-order Babi Guling for our New Years dinner. Warung Bintang was also good, and has a nice view over the rice field, and a spa for massages. Both are super close. Lotus took great care of the grounds, and the staff was especially attentive. We were able to get laundry done, and also airport pick up/drop off to our next location. The waterfront location is really calming, we were always happy after a long day to come back.
